I also dislike what the writers has done to Faith because Faith never wanted Nick with anyone else besides Sharon which is why she never liked anyone Nick was with so it's ridiculous.

I agree, it's so fake and ridiculous. Poor Faith forever propping her fathers love life.

Whether Adam is or isnt truly dead I find it so disrepectful that anyone is trying to push this agenda so soon after his "death".

Same I havent watched but that's because I'm avoiding it.

It's not really a surprise to me that my interest has taken a hit considering Chadam have always been my reason for watching. Afterall they brought me back to watching Y&R twice in the years since their story began. So yeah I can't take that it's basically laughed at with this Chelsea/Nick bs. I might catch-up on the Hevon scenes though.

Haven't been watching so I dont know what the scene was the comments I read on twitter simply called it a "montage" scene.

Though I did see a picture of them with Connor taking a photo

and all I could think of was Chadam/Connor in Paris on the little guys birthday taking a happy family pic.

Well I watched it live and people are taking it overboard.

And I feel the reason people are taking it overboard is because people expect it to happen.
But when I was actually watching it. It was Faith who thought that Chelsea/Adam would be good together and everything and of course Sharon sort of agreed with Faith but when Nick found out, he got really upset with Sharon and told her not to interfere in his personal life, and he told her that using their daughter to pair him with someone wasn't great.

Also, Nick brought it up to the viewers how odd it'd be to be with Chelsea, and brought up how Adam wanted Nick to help out with Connor.

Chelsea than had a conversation with Chloe about how much she loved having Nick as a friend in her life, so it hurt her that she felt no romantic feelings for him. She said she doesn't know how to have the "Let's just be friends" talk.

Chloe was giving Chelsea suggestions of how to let Nick make that know for sure.

So, Nick and Chelsea finally meet and it's like the most awkward conversation ever because Nick felt that Chelsea probably had romantic feelings for him and vice versa. lol Because of what other people were doing, but they finally cleared the air and decided that friendship was definitely the best route and when Nick left, Chelsea sighed in relief like, "Thank goodness this is over with." lol

The montage scene I saw was of a Nick/Chelsea scene... and the reason for that was because Chelsea got mixed signals of Nick's feelings because of Faith.. so Chelsea was thinking probably when Nick hugged her, it was romantic. lol All of that gets cleared up.

People are blowing it out of proportion over fear.
No idea what the future will bring, but right now it's 100% friendship. No sign of romance.

Thanks for explaining it all it's really taken a weight off my mind about it tbh. I know my fear over it has been because I dont exactly trust that any SOAP wouldn't go for that kind of trashy af messed up situation even this soon. So yeah trust issues for me on this one.

Sounds like hilarious mixed signals.

Ego much from Nick though thinking she'd be catching feelings for him so soon (or at all) after Adam's died.

Good to know it's all platonic and no romantic feelings. I hope it stays platonic. I might actually try give it a watch now you've put your spin on explaining it.

Well I'll catch up tomorrow to know if I missed anything else since I am 3 episodes behind. Lol anything could've happened since. Lol

Also, it wasn't who from Nick, it was confusing from both Chelsea and Nick because of Sharon and Faith, but he just felt strange for hugging Chelsea after realizing what Sharom and Faith did. So, he was upset with Sharon, brushed it off with humor with Chelsea as they had the friends talk.

If anything I felt the picture with them and Connor was a bit much but everything else was alright.

One of the main (good) things we can say about Jill and Pratt is that they loved Chadam.... So, new showrunners can change everything so who knows...
