I never shipped them but in a strange way feel for them because of the storyline similarities to what my dear Robron have been going through.

Yeah Cane character is going backwards.

I feel Lily has been loyal enough but it's only so much one person can take...

Cane made his bed with all the lying. Exactly there's only so much Lily can be expected to forgive when he's already cheated, impregnanted another woman and then stealing money (meant for their childrens futures) all to cover up more secrets.

On another note their son Charlie is so annoyingly overbearing about Mattie/Reed.

The latest Cane and Lily scenes have been amazing. I do hope everything works out for the best for them..I'm kind of sick of seeing my favorite couples not together lol

^ I agree, I love that it hasn't been a easy transition back together and that they have been REALLY trying to make it work with honesty.

Me too especially for Lily when it comes down to Sam. It's like she wants to love him, she does love him but that tiny little piece of her is still angry at how he came to be. But I love that she's trying and wants to be there for Cane and Sam and even helped name him

^ And I think that's the realistic approach here, if she was just accepting and not caring, that would've been a bit ridiculous.

I think my issue with this storyline though is that we NEVER saw a flashback of Cane and Juliet sleeping together to begin with.

Just felt the storyline was handled horribly...

It was, you would have thought we'd see something. Maybe it'll eventually come out that Sam isn't Cane's either and Juliet just needed to declare someone the father hence opening the door for Cane and Lily to raise Sam as their own

. As a Lane fan though I kind of don't mind Sam staying Cane's because it'll be nice to see Lane with a baby again since their kids grew up sooo fast

So, you weren't happy with the Lane kids being aged to teens? I know I wasn't. .... but I guess I learned to accept it.

I still don't know how I feel about Sam though......

No, I wasn't. Especially when they are suppose to be younger than Faith yet shes still eleven. Plus I adored McKenna, Aiden and than Brandin as Mattie and Charlie. They were written as typical, energetic, crazy, fun, loving, hyper children. We don't see it much on the soaps anymore (on GH Spencer had an iPhone at like seven). It's nice to see. I view Sam as being innocent. He definitely didn't ask to be conceived by Juliet and Came.

I'd honestly like to see it either come out that Canes not the father but he adopts him alongside Lily or that by some chance he's also Lily's (its a soap so anything could happen). But now a days it seems soaps don't believe in full siblings that there has to be a half sibling in there somewhere so in this family its Sam, making him the odd one out.

Well it seems like their storyline has moved on to stopping Hilary from having a baby with Devon... unsuccessfully thus far I may add. lol

^ I know! and I don't get the point of the Cane/Victoria kisses to break up Cane/Lily if it wasn't going to go anywhere.

I don't know much about Cane/Lily but I remember the beginning of their love story was so cute. She got pregnant but then had a miscarriage in the early days.

^ They had a lot of ups and downs since than... they are in the process of a divorce... guess we'll see if it goes all the way through.
