I saw 4 signs from him that he's totally 'acting' ok about the finale. And also the ending of the video about the finale, where he says "and I'm very proud of our show that it went beyond that sitcom conceit and told a bitter, better story." I think he was very vague on what 'sad' event as this show has more than one sad, bitter storyline, overall he's proud of the show, overall he's proud of the different angles but he's very vague on directing those thoughts onto the finale. At least that is how I read it.

I really think that Neil has a huge chance at winning the tony. The magazine interview was great, and he's so good in hedwig. Lvoe him so much!
