It is one of the few things I don't like in this show, their obsession to slap Barney I know it is a comedy, but it was ok like for 5 minutes

I guess they feel that Barney played so many jokes on all of them that they don't mind the slaps, but it did get overplayed after a while. Just like that silly cockamouse.

I think HIMYM gives wrong messages sometimes, but then I remember it is just a comedy, and hoping people don't get things seriously as examples to follow.
