- Per Ausiello, Hilary Duff joining for a multi episode arc. Playing Olivia Burke, a movie star who wants a normal college experience and rooms with Vanessa.
From E!: Inside sources tell us exclusively that Duff's character Olivia is a movie star who just wants to live a simple peasant girl's life at college and date a simple unfamous guy. Lucky for her then that Dan doesn't know who she is and that he wants to hook up with her. Yep, not only are Dan and Serena all permanently broken up, but Dan is stepping out on Serena with this new girl Olivia.

3.05: Rufus Getting Married

- Sources tell us that Dan, Serena, Jenny, and Eric learn about their half brother earlier in the season. In 3.05, Rufus and Lily finally meet their long-lost spawn, Scott, and he's up to nothing more nefarious than trying to find his birth parents. He's a good guy, after all! Scott's main arc is the first five episodes of the season, and he departs again after the big reunion, but more likely than not, the character will recur again for the remainder of the season.

Well, G is history soon and Carter's out in ep 6. So whatever is going on doesn't last long, which is why in some wierd way I don't care. I just want to see how they write DS durning these mini-dramas!

And, I do hope this time Dan doesn't get played for the fool by that bitch G since she is once again using him and out to hurt him. My guess is because he realizes what they did was a mistake. This girl messed up too much with him and that's why I could never want that whore near him.

The good thing is the writers obviously want to still reminds us that she hasn't changed because she will once again lie and use him.

That's because he is done with G by the end of episode 3. And, he asks Olivia out in ep 4, but they don't have their first real date until ep 6 when he asked her to that college lucheon thing. So, yeah I think G is a mistake that probably happened due to being drunk and lonely. Two things that make Dan H. do some very stupid things some time.

Sorry can't do. That girl is insane and from what I'm hearing she's goes into a scary mode with him. I mean, it's not surprising she's pyschotic and Dan should know better but like I said between the booze, loneliness and of course just being the good guy he is and liking to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, he will once again fall prey to this girl. But, I definetly think his sanity returns quickly which is why the bitch reveals her true colors and reveal that she hasn't changed at all.

Personally, it's funny DS's stories with others (Carter and G) seem to be about them wanting to believe that these two have changed, giving them a chance only for both to reveal that they haven't changed at all!

ETA: Not to mention that the promo and speak of the week kinda shows that she's not suppose to be seen as someone Dan should be with, they called the girl "George-gyna", not the best indorsement.
