About, generation 2 characters being stereotypical. I cannot fathom how anyone can come to that conclusion. There is no basis for that argument. This is not a well thought out point, at all.

yeah but people were praising that saying that this time skins was pointing out the stereotypes on purpose instead of accidentally creating stereotypical characters like they did with gen 2. or something like that.

WHAT? I thought Skins was supposed to be about teen life for teens. I thought it was supposed to be realistic, down to earth, not falling along sterotype clap trap land.

There was a clear decline in writing and time management in season 4. I also dunno why the last episode’s precious minutes were wasted on showing us Thomas running around and that scene of JJ driving with his mum and singing in episode 6. Yeah, they could have fitted in Thomas’s storyline in that episode.

This. I def would've erased the entire ep6 of the pack aswell. Really, what was that piece of crap?

IKR? I read a review where they said they were glad Skins is back to casting ugly people. I mean, SERIOUSLY???? Outside of Liv, Alo, and Rich's wig I find Gen 3 attractive.

LOL! that picture of JJ reminds me of people also saying that the gen 2 characters were "too cool" and that gen 3 seems to be more of the uncool, freak type of characters. which i guess makes them more relatable. but JJ was AUTISTIC! i don't see how that's "cool." and lets see, thomas was foreign, panda was loopy, naomi was some weired political chick. like idgi. i guess characters like katie and effy are supposed to be "cool" but aren't nick and mini too? there are always characters that are "cool" like tony, then others who just aren't, like anwar. what's their point?

After season 4, we can tell that the writing staff is full of new and interesting ideas. There is no shortage of anything so they are resorting to irony. How ironical!
