At least JJ and Freddie were probably there. Well Freddie kind of left halfway through Cook's 17th birthday...

yeah that's why i love the gang, you just get the feeling they only had each other up until the entered Roundview, esp. Cook.

Me too! I completely agree.

JJ seems to have a good relationship with his Mom but he doesn't have any other friends.
Freddie used to have a solid family until his mother died, and now he's the black sheep so he relies on JJ and Cook more.
For Cook, JJ and Freddie are the only family he's got.

You can tell that they really need each other to rely on.
