Better than I expected, good music, decent cinematography in parts. I'm not apologizing for ****.

I thought it was okay, but I still liked it. A lot. The characters were completely new to me because of how the actors played them. IDK, they were different (in a good way).
I'm not sure how to feel about the acting right now, but I'm confident that once we see more episodes, it'll get better. I really loved Chris (but I'm biased because I love UK!Chris so much, lol) and Cadie! And even though it was really hard not to compare it to the UK pilot since it was a shot-by-shot, I thought it was a pretty well done adaptation. LOL at their neighborhoods looking like mine though. __________________

Ok so for me it was ... crap... well.. not crap.. it was just a BIG mess.. the edition was **** the music was really good.. the acting, some of them are ok some of them are good and some of them are terrible.. mostly Tony's dad.. OMG.. PAINFUL... Tabitha was brilliant and really funny! also the scene in the toilet when Chris is talking bout Stanley's penis made me LOL very much but overall it was bad.. I expected nothing from MTV but the BEEPING and HORRIBLE edition was a bit too much for me.. TOO MUCH...

And yes Jared watched it, he said so on his twitter but he didn't like it. He loved the music though. __________________

I think it's easy to say "it's skins bias" but honestly there's more than that.
The acting is partly responsible. That Tony couldn't convince me of anything in any scene. Michelle is really pretty but her "sexy" dance scene was so cringe worthy I don't want to see that again. Stan was eh. I'm not a fan of Mike at all and I didn't care much for Sid, but I think he was better at playing that kind of character. I liked Cadie. But she's different than Cassie, so giving her the same scenes feels off. This Cassie isn't that spacy. (which is good and I'm sure in the next episodes it will feel more like herself). the others weren't there enough to have much of an opinion. Oh, and the adults? Please go away. They were terrible. All in all, nothing about this episode was "different" or made it stand out. I don't mean comparing it to the original, but comparing to other shows. I can't even remember a good line. If It wasn't for knowing that BE was behind this, I would not keep watching the show. But voila, the man is writing the next episode, so I'm in. __________________
