Most of my involvement with FanForum has been on the board of Young Americans, a show that ran for only eight episodes in the summer of 2000.

That board makes more than 90% of its posting quota through non-substantive game threads and chat threads unrelated to the show that the board's ostensibly about. If they can do it, you can.

Just one suggestion: When you become a "post show" board, separate the "actor appreciation" threads from the "character appreciation" threads. Otherwise the few posts about Tony Stonem on this board, ten years from now, will be lost in a thread about Nick Hoult's acting career, love life and sex appeal.

that's going to be tricky. but if it gets to that, the best way is for actors to get a board or open a thread in the male/female actors board and redirect them there.

The choice will eventually be between going out of business and filling your front page with mindless game-type threads, the sole function of which is to fill the posting limit. For the latter, look at the Young Americans board on FF Past TV Shows.

I wish I could post more, my love for the show died though in S4 and I have never regained it back fully.

I might do a S1 & 2 rewatch though.

We never relied on games before, but we hardly ever kill threads anymore - that's the big problem - so we'll surely try to go that route. We can't go before S7

Sad to see the board dropping so low in posting numbers. I remember being here for S3 and S4 and it was quite a marvel to behold. I guess G3 -- specifically S6 -- and US Skins just left too bad of a taste in everyone's mouth. And the news on S7 is so scant, sometimes I even forget it is actually a thing that is happening.

I'd like to see the board at least last through S7. I'll try posting here more to do my part.
