Naomi doesn't tell Emily she's sick. So she must come back for a visit and go back to NY only to come back again when she gets told Naomi is sick.

 I have a feeling it ends with Naomi in remission though. Because it's only Summer and it runs until December at least. Emily obviously comes back early Pt 2 goes back to NY to return later in the episode. And she whacks Effy  That's for fcking lying to her!!!__________________
