lol Junior prom was the only high school dance I went to. I did go out to dinner with all my friends before sophmore(?) homecoming, I think. But I wasn't feeling well so that was my excuse not to join them at that dance My school did at least like 6 dances a year, I think

thank you katie I've been pretty depressed and all over place and I decided to finally give in and take antidepressants but it just back fired and now I feel worse than before

well, that's true all I can do is give you a hug and some Naomily, hoping they will cheer you up!

Angel Don't try and worry about it. You might just need to let your body get used to them. I remember when I started on them I felt worse at first And if it doesn't get better in a couple of days then go back to your doctor - and notify them. You might need another type. I had to switch meds a few times before I ended up with something that helped me.

Most of the anti-depressants I've been prescribed were ones you had to take for a few weeks before they're really doing anything. idk it adjusts itself into your system or something. Are you taking an SSRI?

I took zoloft but apart from my mood I'm physically sick too.... is that normal?



yeah I was told that might be the case but after this I don't think I wanna try ANY again... I was begining to do sooo much better

It's not weird I used to get physically sick too. And you could have a bug that your immune system isn't as well-equipped to fight right now. Do you have allergies?

eta: If you think you're feeling physically ill because of the medication, that's something you should ask your doctor about

Yeah Angel that is normal. I had a much worse reaction when I started on Citalopram I was sick - I didn't sleep for 72 hours straight and started suffering delusions. My pupils also were dilated massively constantly. It was dreadful. So I had to switch to Fluoxetine which I was fine on.
