I am going more with the second question myself, if we are meant to be seeing more of the girls, Naomi could be going to Emily's and have to deal with her mum.

I think Mumma Fitch will have problems with Naomily which will probably cause problems between them. That's the only way I can see them splitting up cause Naomi might want to walk away from the relationship if it splits up the family. I doubt we'll see Naomi's dad though, we could but I don't think it's that important.
