glad you girls liked the parallelism too! i don't know, Effy doesn't talk as much as Holly but she sure is just like her!~

very true! Freddie saw her objectively when she injured Katie, but for the rest fo the time, he just showed how he really felt and it didn't matter if it would please or piss Effy off. while Effy saw the goodness in Freddie and felt inadequate as she sees her fmaily life crumble down, she didn't feel deserving of loving and to be loved. But Freddie insisted on it, even when he was with another one he never stopped showing through that he loved Effy.
