Agreed 100%. I expected the kiss to happen in 5x01, not 6x08. :lol: Also, it makes no sense that Franky would repeatedly beg ghost!Grace for "life advice" (aka boy advice) when they had a beautiful friendship founded on something much deeper. Grace saw through Franky's true demons from the beginning, which contrary to what BE wants us to believe, never had anything to do with choosing which dick you want to ride. I thought their ~communication across the afterlife was the most nonsensical of ghost!Grace's appearances with all the characters.

I think their scenes in the finale were perfect, it shows how much Franky needed Grace and how important their relationship was to Franky. It also made Franky realize that she needs to fix herself instead of messing up other people's lives. I wish Grace was there for Franky and didn't die, I think she is the only character who understands Franky besides Matty.

A pretty surreal shot, isn't it? Reminds me of the fact that the very first episode of Skins alludes (with delightful irony) to Field of Dreams.

Grace, in gen 3, grows from what seems to be a kid into a symbol, into a personification of divine love, into what her name implies: Grace.

Sadly, I'll need to rewatch s5 with the ending of s6 in mind in order to understand it. Which is, of course, what I expected. You can't understand s1 until you know that Tony will be redeemed in s2, either; and you can't understand s3 until you know how s4 will end, namely, that Effy's insane.

Man, I really miss Franky and Grace. I wish that fans could of had a say on some of the storylines in s6. Grace was killed and Franky became the most hated skins character. The two best Gen 3 characters were torn apart for the worst.

I do enjoy yours, as you know :) I can't even remotely agree with that ^ but then we seem to approach it from complete opposites. What were your first thoughts about Franky, Grace, their relationship?

I know, they feel so long ago now just like the OT4. That's something else I thought would be permanent in this gen.

I think that once Franky finds herself, she wont need to run to Grace for help. Of course she will always love Grace but i dont think she will need her anymore mentally. But i wonder, how would things be differently if Grace never died? If Grace was alive in the finale, i think she would have tried to go with Franky to she her mother. You could tell how strongly Grace cared for Franky in episode 1 of s6 when Grace was the only one who tries to help fix Matty/Franky's relationship.

That is a very good scene. Dakota and Jessica express a lot of emotions just through facial expressions especially Dakota.

Wasn't it, felt like a big change from anything before. This gen were out on their own with little reference to the past - it worked too, that series had more than enough in it even if you really liked - but weren't completely sold on - it. like me :look:

eh....it's just how S5 felt. Franky's was great, possibly the best premiere of the lot. Rich's grew on me, Mini's was classy even if I couldn't get behind her, Liv's was ace - a real gem in a good series up to then. Did anyone else feel like it sloped off after that? except for Alo's everything felt a bit scattered. Nothing much tied them all in until the last few scenes in the finale.

This is how i imagined they'd end the series. Would've made a great last shot.

It's not saying much, but Granky's kiss was the only time I felt anything positive towards S6. Beautiful. :love:

That is actually more realistic than the idea of the "quest for perfection" which revolved around Franky's twisted little reality
