they were doing great with having more group interaction in the beginning of s4 at least

I think s4 did an alright job in terms of showing interaction (they were actually shown together as a group a lot, the isolation of the episodes didn't really allow for many scenes), I just think it was too late to solve the problem and make it believable without spending a ton of time on it, if that makes sense
