Yeah, apparently she didn't. Jack O'Connell has the male lead and he's already filming in South Africa. I don't think they'd begin filming without having cast the female already. Unfortunately.

I bet they would have cast Kaya if not for the fact that Jack and Kaya just finished working on something together. ~~She would have had to pull out at the last minute to do Wuthering Heights anyway.~~

i agree. i think i would have preferred her in WH career-wise although i'd love to see jack and kaya work on something else again.

and YAY for the sequels. i hope kaya plays a bigger part in the sequels.

Though I agree on WH also being amazing. I can see her as a good Cathy and I'll def watch it.
