I've stopped hating Skins really. but then sometimes I think back on how good it was able to be sometimes and it frustrates me
Haven't rewatched any of it in a long time though, maybe I should try watching s1 again.

Yeah it makes me so sad that a show that used to be so good and so unique went downhill so quickly leaving a terrible taste in everyone's mouth.

It was their arrogance about it too, they became ratings grabbers and maybe it was partly E4s fault, but I will always resent them for refusing to admit they messed up.

I remember that huge post he did, and how he went through a phase of just posting in the Minky thread, which was cruel really because it built up their hopes.

Wasn't Rich Cain the one always posting on the Minky thread? Idk though, it's been a while ps. he's still dating Laya according to his instagram, they look adorable!

On the big post I cant fully remember but I think it came down to the fact that it was frustrating for them to have to read us complain when they were all working so hard to deliver quality work (I think this was when we were reacting badly to the ~news we were receiving). I have a feeling there was also a post he made about half way through s6? I don't fully remember though.

They seemed to think some people liked it we were just complaining because we didn't get the storylines we wanted, not because they outright didn't make sense/came from nowhere

Well I can definitely see their side on this bc I read some old threads here and some people were incredibly harsh and downright tactless especially when they were bashing the writers directly. Internet critics could be very hurtful, but then telling you you're bitter and hateful is quite childish in my opinion. But it's hard to judge since I wasn't present

Some posters equated JB, you're right It was so much fun to be a mod during those times Like you said he was so childish though, he just kept adding fuel to the fire.

I agree, he shouldn't have joined those discussions in the first place. It weirds me out when celebs get butthurt over hate on the internet and get involved in the heated discussions. You can call out someone politely, but that's about it.
