For the most part, they didn't. But I think Sid really understood that after his episode, and he just didn't do anything about it.

I actually think it was the opposite in this episode, Sid saw something in their friendship that was worth everything Tony put him through in the past.

In this episode, yes. Which is why I liked their scene at the end.

It's in both Effy eps that we see the real tearing down and building up of Sid/Tony's relationship.

It's funny how in both eps, Effy's role seems minimal but is actually the most important because she affects everyone in different ways.

Definitely, it's so interesting. Her storyline in the episodes don't seem so important, they just affect the people around her, which makes it harder to get to know her character, which is brilliant of the writers. It just leaves you wanting more.

Exactly. One of my fav lines is when she explains her art project to Madam DeLuca.

Madame Deluca: And what emotion have you chosen to depict?
Effy Stonem: Anger, Jealousy, Bitterness, Tiredness, Hope, Lust, Love. Madame Deluca: A veritable feast. So where is it? Effy Stonem: It’s everywhere. Madame Deluca: My dear girl, I’m not sure I understand. Effy Stonem: Its conceptual. You just can’t see it. Madame Deluca: Your saying you haven’t done it? Effy Stonem: No I’m saying you can't see it. Genius __________________

I love her last line. And how she takes a pause before saying love.

That whole exchange was fantastic, and it's so Effy. And the last line is my favorite.

Madame Deluca was one of my fav guest stars ever. I really wished we could've seen more from her.
