Yeah, I definitely understand that.

Though I will say that I think mine is angsty in a different way than Terrabeth's, for example (some of that was pretty hard for read, and I'm betaing the damn thing)- I think because it's S1/S2-based and Chuck and Blair are still working towards becoming a couple, it's more of the S2-type angst than S3/S4.

For some reason, it seems much more painful when they hurt each other after being together and in love, than when they're still in the pre-relationship denial phase.

Good point about the hurts being different before or after their relationship. I read her's because the writing is excellent, but it kills a little of my soul with every chapter. LOL.

I think it was after... some bad CB episode aired, maybe 4x20 even, and people were being ridiculous on the internet as usual, and I was just in a really crappy GG mood already... I had to to beta the Blair/Mack sex chapter.

That was an... unpleasant evening for me.

She has more than one- "Into the Woods" had the CS hookup pre-pilot. "Criminal" doesn't- although it has Blair/OC, which might bother you just as much.

Personally, while I'm no fan of CS as a pairing, that fic did it the only way I could ever tolerate- as a flashback to before anything happened between CB.

I actually find it hard to believe nothing ever did happen, given how ****ty and regularly effed up they both were back then, heh.... but obviously I would very much prefer the show never went there, even as a pre-pilot incident.

For ages I expected them to reveal a pre-pilot hook-up, just so they could complete their hook-up BINGO card. I can't say I'm sad they haven't.

Glutton should stop discussing though and get to writing. I need another chapter.
