Yeah, that look was the first thing I grabbed onto about the NB sex scene in Hi Society, lol. And then I realized "Apologize" was playing. Then I rewatched and saw that she was wearing Chuck's necklace. After that, I was like, "If I didn't ship CB before, I would start NOW."

I agree that Chuck hasn't been "OMG IN LOVE" with Blair all his life like Nate with Serena. I think he saw her as a close friend and really respected her SO MUCH that he didn't look at her as a sexual being. His remarks were just Chuck. But in the Poison Ivy bed scene... From the first time I watched, that moment looked to me like they both realized they had crossed a line and had to get out of there fast. Does that make sense?

LOL, Sharon! I just felt like her "Leaving. Now." was devoid of all the previous witty banter. Like suddenly, it wasn't funny anymore. And his reaction to the rejection was so far beyond how he normally reacted, like it actually stung. My first impression after watching that scene was, "THAT was weird...."

Very different from the "If I were your man" exchange, which was all flirty and fun, no hard feelings.

Yes they both realised the tension in the room and needed to get out of their as quickly as possible. The witty banter just stopped and their smiles were gone. It was "Time to leave" and he did.

OMG, yes! I love your interpretation about the bedroom scene in PI. Her "Leaving. Now." tone of voice totally took a 180 and if I'd been in that room with them, I'd probably have died from all the tension.

Sharon, I did it, too! I read AT LAST. And then I ran to reread GUARD MY DRINK (which apparently I hadn't reviewed yet..weird). I felt the mood to compare her "first times", even though they're just fan interpretations.

I totally agree with Tatiana about the bulimia. If he's always known then it's fine, but I can't picture Blair ever willingly telling anyone about that, let alone Chuck.

Yeah, I basically feel like there are only two ways for CB bulimia to go: Either Chuck had known since it started because he's just that good and doesn't talk about it, but rather simply does things to avoid it happening. Or else Chuck won't know until he literally walks in on Blair puking. There's no way she would just tell him.
