i just finished reading Ch.13 of Hope Remains.. damn, i'm about to cry. and he still doesn't know! ARGH! And she gave me like this huge paragraph in her author's note too. Why do people do that? It always makes me blush and feel all weird. :lol: I just REALLY wanted her to update this b/c its awesome!

Issa? you go through my favorites? bah, i hope they're ok.. like i said, i pulled in all my story alerts to my favorites.. but that was like almost a year ago, so i think i fixed it, but i'm not sure...

and T, whenever someone does that to me in the middle of a fic, i have to remove the alert AND the favoriting if i actually favorited it...

my absolute favorites at the moment are Hope Remains, Baby Steps, and Scared. have you read all those? not finished, but i adore them!

i thought Baby Steps might slow down a little too much at a certain point, but she did an amazing job with keeping my interest thus far.

and Scared.. well, that is... wow. i mean, you'd think it was a CB fic, but it's more based on the SB friendship. i absolute adore it, though there might be some CB happening at some point. it absolutely breaks my heart though.

oh, and i read 2 oneshots the other day that had me dying laughing... Vodka and Orange Juice (don't remember who its by) and... MrNotSoPerfect by our very own Isabelle.

I am liking Hope Remains, but I do think she was a little harsh on the Nate. (I went back to reread) I don't think Nate would ever call Blair a ****, no matter how angry he was. He's too well-bred for that. Bug now I'm just nit-pitcking, lol.

Aftershock. and yeah, she slapped him after he said it... the 2nd time. lol. the first time he was just saying "only a whore would sleep with someone for revenge" so he wasn't technically calling HER a whore b/c that wasn't why she'd slept with Chuck... but the 2nd time.. damn, you're going to make me break it out, arent you?

edit: whoa, B seriously miscalculated... Aftershock is a little over 160,000+ words... wow
