I guess as long as Vanessa doesn't forgive him this season (or at least doesn't take him back or pine for him.) they could go back to NV at some point. I love there scenes together, but Vanessa can't just keep getting hurt. It's ridiculous.

Maybe this whole NB thing is going to make Nate realize that he has not been the best friend to Chuck, looking back at how everything that's happened.

Hopefully he'll finally see the consequences of his actions. Maybe this will force him to finally grow up.

It's very sad how after Chuck's father dies, when he was suicidal, even with the EWS... Nate's never truly been there for him.

Chuck needs a new BFF.

IKR? Bart dies, Chuck almost looses his company, he goes suicidal and all Nate can think of is stealing Blair from Chuck? What a bestfriend forever!

I've wanted to Nate grow up all season. He was being a good boyfriend but now he'll do this. No ones getting any development on this show.

I just don't think they will ever have her move on. She's never had an actual storyline. Her relationship with Nate has been all she's about.

hmm I think nate assumes that chuck has " moved on." Nate even said this last episode that hes glad chuck is "moving on " on the phone when chuck was waiting for elle. Chuck seemed to act like nothing ever happened between them.

Poor Vanessa! Is she really going to be tied to Nate for the rest of the series. They need to expand her role somehow. If not a new man, she needs something to occupy her time. Anything but Nate really.

I have noticed all the character regressed back to the way they were in season 1. Isn't good storytelling when your characters grow out of their former habits and evolve each season? Nate is still going around aimlessly, Serena is still going from guy to guy, Dan is still not trusting Serena and ending up in strange girls beds, Chuck is still going around with whores and Blair is still being a brat/immature whilst living in a dreamworld.
