Spending a lot of time with my elderly parents recently . Both have reluctantly understood that the time to move into a nice assisted living facility is what is best . They own a Beautiful condo , like 2600 sq ft one level . Both have physical issues , at times it can be taxing .

I'm sure that wasn't easy for them to come to terms with. My parents and aunts have been talking to my grandparents about possibly moving into assisted living or moving into smaller houses. I can't imagine how hard it is for them, or for your parents. It can't be easy leaving your home and having to rely on people more.

Ahh, I wasn't exactly sure which countries celebrate it. The US does, and I'm pretty sure Canada does as well. Wasn't sure if the UK or some other countries celebrated or not.


Matt, I hope you had a good time at your sister's. I was at my cousin's house with my mom's side of the family. It was also my grandpa's 89th birthday that day
