Amber Benson? Never heard of her.
I have heard Thea Harrison is a popular new UF author. |

I've read all of Thea Harrison's books so far, but I would definitely categorize her as PR.

Yeah, it follows a different couple each book. I think you would like them, Jen.

Yeah. They were recommended to me from the girl at the romance bookstore we have here.

I finally caught up on some series. I finished the latest book from Jennifer Estep's Elemental Assassin series.
And I've just read this, and thought it was an excellent read! Quote:
Has anyone heard of it? I'm definitely going to buy the sequel. __________________

I hadn't heard of that, but it sounds pretty good. In a way.. it kinda reminds me of Fever.

Actually most of you have probably heard of Amber Benson, she was Tara on Buffy. She is a good writer, though, the style just might not be everyone's cup of tea. I'm still on book 4 (Tangled threads) in Elemental Assassin, and loving it.

I didn't know she became an author. Why do you say that about her style?

well in the beginning her lead character is a little fluffy, but she steps up, but then also I know some girls like a strong romance presence and at least in the first book there's not a super strong one just a small one, and then there's also mythology used in the series like gods from mythology etc. and I know some people don't like the idea of anything other than one God. Even if it is just a book and mythology. So just some wearing. I loved the book I read and just recently got my hands on the second one.

Oh wow. I didn't even make that connection. I just assumed it was an author with the same name.

I haven't heard of them. But the author sounds Irish, so if they follow that mythology I might like them
