A sexy fall read for Grisham fans!
This was a sexy, insane look at the criminal justice system. I like crime stories and honestly took a chance on this book simply because I liked the cover art. D.A. Diaries by Kenneth Eichner blows the lid off the genre. The voice and the story grabbed me right away.
It is about a homicide prosecutor, Clay, who is assigned to a high-profile case in Washington D.C. The complexity of Clay's life becomes more apparent as the complexity of the case unfolds and pretty soon everyone seems like a suspect. It was captivating to read a work of fiction by a former prosecutor with a great sense of humor. This gave the book a realistic and fun voice. I highly recommend it! |
