I haven't really read much fantasy like I used to. It used to pretty much be the only genre I read

It's time to vote for the 2021 goodreads awards

I was only able to vote in the Graphic Novel category because I haven't read anything else

The Board Guide had the wrong link for goodreads

I want to read Poster Girl by Veronica Roth and Chaos Rising (Star Wars: Thrawn Ascendancy, #1) by Timothy Zahn.

I have read Sea of Tranquility
by Emily St. John Mandel.

Thanks for posting.

I want to read Klara and the Sun (it has been on my list for a while), Our Missing Hearts, The Candy House (been on my list for a while), The Ferryman, The Vanished Birds, and The Endless Vessel. Though I must say many of the others on the list have piqued my interest but I am trying not to add too many right now

I have read Sea of Tranquility and The Measure

A lot of people say Project Hail Mary is good.
I still have to read Sea of Tranquility. The plot of Klara and the Sun sounds interesting.

I am surprised Project Hail Mary hasn't been made into a movie yet like The Martian was.

I can't remember if I have the Klara audiobook.

It is. Ryan Gosling is attached. It hasn’t started filming yet.

And now with the strike it's delayed.

That answers that. Ryan is a big name. Maybe it'll film next year.

Is pre-production allowed to go on with 2 factions on strike?

I guess if you're in a department not affected and don't mind being a backstabber, sure.

There are certain exemptions I’ve been reading but I don’t know if that would apply here

It must suck for a production that was in the middle of filming because when they get back to it they've got to get their heads back in the game.
