Oh! I didn't notice the other one was up to 300.
As it so happens, I'm sitting here with a mug of hot chocolate.

I think of the 40s as cold.
Anything under 80 is cold

Anything under 80 is cold?

O.K. Then it will be freezing until May.
Anything over 40 is mild for winter.

Wearing two shirts right now.

I sometimes am still wearing a jacket in June.

That's sounds like my poster friend from the desert of CA- wearing a jacket or sweater if it gets down to 70!

I can totally understand why a CA person wouldn't be able to deal with anything less than 70.

There was frost on the pumpkin today. Does anyone know the poet
James Whitcomb Riley? He lived near here;
had a poem called When The Frost Is On The Pumpkin.

I never heard of him. I am very uninformed when it comes to poetry.

But I read it here
https://www.poetryfoundation.org/poe...-on-the-punkin

I am impressed by those who can write poetry. It's more difficult than regular books.

We study his work here in grade school, because he lived nearby, and classes go tour his house. The pumpkin one was my favorite. He also had Little Orphan Annie:
The goblins will get ya if ya don't watch out!
