Thanks for starting the thread!
I read this book when I was in my early teens I think and I remember thorougly enjoying it. I've been in the mood for a re-read, see if I still love it. __________________

I read it as a child, and the sequel Jo’s Boys.
But I have seen the movie with Winona Ryder many times. It always makes me cry. |

I haven't read this book in years. I end up watching the Winona version more.

It’s faster to see the movie than a reread. Wonder if there are good audiobooks for Little Women.

I got a free one from Penguin that has Christina Ricci as the narrator.

ooh I bet that audiobook would be great
I love this book. I love all the movie versions too (including the TV one with Maya Hawke on PBS a few years ago ). The musical is also (you can find old clips on YouTube). It's a good winter/autumn reread. Does anybody have a favorite character? |

Same. I loved Jo as a kid (still love her) but also appreciate Amy too. And Meg. And Beth. And Laurie.

The PBS version was enjoyable too. I think Maya made a good Jo. I love Jo because she made me want to get into creative writing. But I also like Amy and get bummed when people hate on her. __________________
