Oh my! I think you'd have to live in a castle or manor house to own 1000.

If you had many full bookcases in every room of your house it is possible to have a 1000 or more.

I try to register all the books I read. I have at some point (through an app) made a list of all the ones I owned but that tends to change so it's difficult. Last count was two years (or so) ago and then it was 350 that I owned.
