How long can you read for?

I can read for about 2 hours straight before needing to take a break.
On some occasions though, when a book is really good and I want to see what happens, I can read for longer.

How long can everyone else read for?

Depends on the book. When I was waitressing graveyard and it was a slow night I'd read for about 5 hours. But then when I got home I wouldn't even look at a book.

Depends on the book. My record was like 4 to 5 hours but that rarely happens. I usually read more, like around 2 hours if on a road trip and everyone else besides the driver were sleeping.

If I'm devoting a day to reading, then I'll read for the day and takes breaks for preparation of meals. If I'm really into a book, I'll finish it in one sitting however long it takes.

IF the book is really, really good, I won't stop till I finish it! I mean that book goes everywhere with me, the fridge, bathroom...wherever. I just don't put it down. WHen I got back from my vacation, I picked HP5 and I didn't put that book down till I finished...many many hours later....and had to call out from work the next day from exhaustion. But I think in one day on a regualr basis...about an hour two.

FOREVER.

No, really, I can read for really long periods of time. I know I finished HP: OoTP in one sitting. But mainly, I often have to do it because I procrastinate on my required reading for my classes. So I always end up staying up all night reading an assigned book.

I finished all of the HP books in a sitting when they came out. I remember I finished HP SS on a plane ride to Germany. and I'm sure I'll do the same with HBP.

I have stayed up all night before and finished a book. I always tell myself "just one more chapter" and soon the whole book is done It isn't unusual for me to be able to finish a book in one sitting. Normally taking like 6 hours.

It depends on the book. Usually though, I'll read a bit each day.

i can't read in one sitting. I get tired and have to take naps
The longest i've read is about 4 to 5 hours and that's when I can't put a book down. But usually I'll just read for 2 to 2.5 hours.

Like Kim, I've been known to finish a book in one siting - depends on the book. Like I read the Third Sisterhood book in one sitting in a few hours. Other books take me days and days.

I can usually read for three to four hours at a time. But I rarely have that much time to devote to reading.

I can usually read for about 3 1/2 hours straight. After that, I have to get up and walk around for a bit. Sometimes I can read for longer if I really want to get a book done.

I can read a whole book in one sitting. So it sort of depends on how long the book is. If it's about a 2-300 page book than about three hours. If it's a bit longer. Only about 4-5 hours.
