They are JKR's creations. If she says that's what happened, then that's what happened. You're speculating that there was a MAJOR plot point that JKR just decided to leave out of the book for no apparent reason, which is waaaaaay over in the realm of shipping, not book discussion.

Is anyone hoping that HP7 won't come out for a really long time so you won't have to face the horrific idea that one day there won't be a new HP book to look forward to?

Well you don't have to worry JK isn't going to start the book until next year and it seems to take her a long time to write them.

That is exactly what I have done. I am surprised at how many clues were in each book that evolved in the others. It only makes HP7 much more interesting to me. My only hope is that it is much longer than HP6.

I thought HBP should of been longer in general. So if the last book is rushed too I will be pissed.. she has so many questions she needs to answer. I think the book will need to be like 1000 pages
