I didn't mind the fae information thrown at us, because in the scope of the story, it's quite important to know.

idk there werent a ton of m/j in book 3 though. he was jealous but he was that way all the way back to book 1. as far as the info it was interesting to read the first time but i guess this time around i didnt care as much.

I've really been enjoying book 4 this time too, i love dani actually and i loved the j/m scenes so much in the beginning now that i understand more what happened and why. and i was so excited to see ryoden and mac interact and see his words about dani too. cool.

I'm glad I had started after DrF was released. Although the wait between DrF and SF was horrible.

Yeah, the wait was horrible. I started just after Faefever came out, and the wait between that and book 4 was quite long too. I believe book 3/4 were meant to come out in one year, but then that was the year she got really sick.

that sucks. that would have killed me to wait between 3/4 OR 4/5.

I cant remember when I started but I think it was right after book 5 came out because I read it really quickly. I think I stayed up all night to read it.

So glad I didnt have to wait for any of them.

Since you had to suffer through both long waits, which do you think was worse Jen, faefever and dreamfever or dreamfever and shadowfever.

Definitely Dreamfever/Shadowfever. Then I think there was a long wait for Iced, right?

I figured that. I think the cliff hanger for Dreamfever was more intense and jaw dropping than Faefever.

I forgot Iced was a longer wait too. Wasn't that one that got pushed back a few times too? I think with Iced since most storylines were tied up and we knew it was Dani book, I was more anxious for it because KMM and not I have to know what happens now.

I remember we had discussed the Dreamfever cliffhanger, and there was many specs who it could be at the end. I know you automatically knew it was Barrons, but I had read theories at KMM's previous forum that it could have been Alina or their father

Her father theory made no sense what so ever. Barrons was the most logically theory. Alina...well that theory was interesting but Mac had already lost her so that didn't make much sense.

Yeah, after I thought about it after it happened, I knew Barrons was the most logical, and especially with all the mystery surrounding him. We knew he was something.

But I wonder if that rule doesn't apply when he's in beast form. Maybe I should go back and look at it. I can't remember if it was the beast or if it was the other animal she first encounter.
