Mine really started to show flaws, sadly. I couldn't highlight things anymore cause it would freak out. When I went to the next page sometimes it didn't pick up the touch and when you pushed again you were two pages further. A lot of the times when you went to the next page it would still slightly show the previous page...


Let me check. The one I have (Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition) is currently €189,99 and I paid €139,99 so it was a €50 discount which is better than anything black friday would offer.

IT was incredibly frustrating. I didn't use it for years but felt like I still couldn't justify getting a new one but my sister got one so it was good motivation. I've been reading books on my computer for years now

I am the same way. It's weird because I can read a fanfic on a laptop/desktop but I can't do a book. I need some kind of more portable device for a book

Don't know why that is. It's still many chapters, there are still words involved....

I just think my mind knows there's a difference between fan fic and a published book.

I was able to get the difference back on my credit card for thr kindle sale

I don't really read fan fic. But if I did, my phone would work for it
