I think both a genuine on her part, because she really was getting into the conversation in the pilot. It wasn't forced then and it isn't forced now IMO.

I think it was pretty forced.
I don't think she had to try hard to enjoy herself, but you can just tell it wasn't Sarah. She had to make sure that he liked her and that he believed that she liked him. I think certain moments were Sarah, but most weren't. Which is fine. She barely knew the guy!__________________

I'm a firm believer that she laugh/smile she gave him before she said "I like you Chuck" was Sarah being Sarah even if for just a brief, brief moment.
