GUH is a good description word lol. The C/C scenes I think are just a sign of what is to come in the future...even with the Rebecca thing that happened in the end...I think their relationship is coming to an end.

Overall, it was a good episode though...I just don't want to wait until September!

I'm really pleased with the finale. I was surprised that C/C actually kissed. My heart just broke for Casey when she was talking to Ash about soulmates, and I felt really, really bad for Rebecca this episode.

I also loved seeing Calvin and Rusty have it out and Dale being their mediator. Hilarious! "Turn off the music or just leave us here to die!"

I felt really bad for Rebecca too... as much as she can be mean sometimes, I think the reason can really be related back to her parents and all of that.

When Casey was talking about soulmates to Ash, think she was hinting that she might have a clue who hers is?

yeah, it was a good episode. i really need to see the first half, though. but the parts that i did see were really good. loved the dale/calvin/rusty. and as much as i dislike rebecca, i did feel really sad for her.

it's just... i really want to see cappie/casey really moving towards something again. i'd just love to see them happy and together in the present.

but the final scene with casey and ash was just loveee. it was just an awesome bff scene. just made me think of s&b from gossip girl running around nyc taking pictures together. just pure bff perfection.

Much agreed, I think that kiss and convo signifies that they're moving towards getting back together. I think that once things settle down with Rebeccas dad C/R might not be together. Cappie looked like he totally just wanted to be with Casey...but he felt bad/obligated to help Rebecca because truthfully she doesn't seem to have many true friends.

I felt bad for her with the situation with her dad. In some ways I like her character and I hope that because of this she'll come around and be "nice"

Right, Amanda? Casey and Ash are the best BFFs ever. My heart just felt so heavy for Casey in that scene. Spencer played it perfectly. It sounded like she had a lump in her throat for most of their talk and, just, so sad.

casey/ash and serena/blair are my fave BFFs. and that whole soulmates conversation... wow. spencer was really awesome in that scene.

and as much as i hate it, it was the right thing for cappie to do. [be there for rebecca, i mean.] it's just... the timing is so frustrating.

but i have to have faith that cappie/casey will get back together.

and i will be the first to admit that my view of rebecca is strongly tainted. i feel like i would be so much more sympathetic to her character if i wasn't so in love with cappie/casey and can't help but see her as simply an obstacle to my otp. this episode is one of the only times i've felt truly sad for her character.

Ok..yes my favorite parts were the Cappie/Casey scenes. I'm with Cappie! I enjoyed seeing Casey happy and carefree. It was great to see her smile and laugh and just have fun. And I was soooo happy bout their kiss! Why'd the dumb tV have to be on!

As for Rebecca, I think I might be the only one that didn't feel sorry for her. She knows what kind of guy her dad is. I guess I just felt like she was acting like a spoiled brat. It's hard for me to feel sorry for a character I don't like Too much watching OTH I think

Poor Rusty! But I'm glad that Dale got him and Calvin talking finally!

Ashley was cracking me up I hope she finds her guy

And I totally loved the Casey/Ashley scene at the end. I love their friendship.

I think my problem with Rebecca is that she said that Cappie is BENEATH her. To me, that's the ultimate insult. Yes, I know that she was upset.

But I just don't like the way she has acted so horribly towards Casey for no reason for months and months. And now the writers made her look like a victim due to her father's situation.

I don't like the character at all. Not because of Cappie/Casey or anything like that. But simply because she's mean towards other people. And obviously, it's horrible what she's going through with her father. But that doesn't excuse all the bad things she has done in the past.

As for Cappie/Casey, we get a kiss! And he asks her out on a breakfast date...well, before the tv thing.

know what I agree! Even though I feel bad for Rebecca right now, she has done some pretty bitter things to people for her own personal gain. I'm such a Cappie/Casey fan though...as a couple and individuals...and the things Rebecca has done to Casey from the beginning kind of suck. Yet, Casey still said for Cappie to go be with Rebecca because she needed him. I think if she would have said stay with me he just might of.

I mean, he did ask her on a breakfast date. And if a breakup really hurt that bad...i think he'd be upset over that...not thinking of spending time with someone he's been in love with for 2-3 years.

Jenn!

I definitely don't think this, or anything else, excuses the way Rebecca acts a lot of the time, but I couldn't help but feel sorry for her, anyway. She knew her dad was a cheater, it's a little different to find out from a reporter that he's leading a prostitution ring or whatever.

Maybe it had more, or a lot, to do with Dilshad's performance, because I thought she was amazing, especially in that first scene with Cappie after she gets the call. She killed that scene.

I was underwhelmed by this episode. If I cared one whit about Casey/Cappie, I might feel differently but I don't so I have to look at the other stories.

I can feel sorry for Rebecca in her situation but I don't blame Cappie or Casey for not realizing there was something more wrong with her. Rebecca often acts standoffish and mean and does crazy things so I'm not surprised they didn't press further.

I thought the "ripped from the headlines" aspect of it all was kind of lame. Wouldn't a simple affair have been enough?

I like Rusty and Calvin's friendship but their reconciliation felt hollow for some reason. I would've loved for Calvin to point out some of KT's faults that are bigger than simply not having ambition. Larceny is rather unattractive in a frat. It wasn't as funny or in depth as this show is capable of being.

Ashleigh chasing after a guy she only talked to for a few seconds felt like filler.

Surprisingly, the part that I like the most was the brief conversation between Evan and Frannie where she asks him if he wants her for her or to get back at Casey and he asks her if she wants to be with him or "Evan Chambers." I'm not a fan of this couple at all but I liked that moment of honesty. At least we finally can see where she stands.

^ I agree about Ashleigh. It's sad and kind of lame, most definitely filler. She hasn't had a substantial storyline line in ages, if ever, and the character and actress deserve much more than that. Eh.
