There's 28 chapters. That's seven months. We've pretty much just got 4.

25 pages is pretty reasonable. If the 25 pages ends in the middle of a chapter or something, we should continue on to the end of that chapter. But we can look at how things go as we get into it.
And everyone must have their book by mid-January? That would give some people who may be hesitant some time to decide and those that have to order the book time too. __________________

I flipped through and 25 pages is an average of 2-3 chapters. I think that's feasible for a week.
I know one person needs to pick up the book at the library but I'll pose the question and see if maybe we can get rolling next week? Start reading the 10th and start the thread for the 15th/16th? How does that sound? __________________

Posted this at TO board, it's pretty much stuff we already talked about.
Details thus far: *Start reading Ch. 1-2 on Monday, January 10. *Before the weekend, Jenn will top a thread at the John Krasinski board to discuss what's been read. *Try not to talk too much about what you know will happen later in the story because we do have some first time readers. Predictions are always welcome. *I have some discussion questions at the end of my book (you may too) that I'll be putting up as well. *Something I always suggest to students is to read with a post-it to jot down things you want to talk about. Saves time searching the book for talking points. Luckily enough, post-its make great bookmarks as well. Win-win-win.
