I'm not going to get to watch this one live, but more of Jim and Dwight as the party planning committee is just good TV

I can't wait to see the rest of the party planning. It's going to be great.

I wonder if we're going to see Holly tonight?
The rest of the party planning is going to be a hoot. "It Is Your Birthday." |

That sign was hilarious. I hope we get to see Holly, I miss her.

I liked part 1 better than part 2, but part 2 was still good. I loved watching Jim and Dwight plan the party. They were like a bickering married couple on the verge of divorce.
Pam was adorable, and I really felt sorry for Michael. It sucks Holly has a boyfriend, but there is hope that she still has feelings for him. That is if the letter is recent. We have no clue how old that letter is. |

I actually kind of thought that Pam told Michael that she still had feelings for her because the look on her face after reading it didn't seem too good.

I really want Dwight and Jim to have their own event planning show. Oh, I haven't laughed so hard at Office dialogue in a loooong time. "Next time you can get the cake and I get to yell at the birthday girl!" Their choice of nap or TV was brilliant! Man, I'd LOVE to get a nap at work for my birthday
I was disappointed that Holly wasn't there, but I guess Amy Ryan just wasn't available. I also thought it was weird that the Nashua branch wasn't more uncomfortable with the cameras. Since they aren't supposed to be used to having their every move videotaped, I would have thought that they would have been more freaked out by it, especially the receptionist (who was Captain Overshare for no real purpose except exposition). It was nice to see Pam and Michael bonding, but I liked their scenes last week better. I was a little disappointed that we didn't get any Pam and Jim scenes in this episode either. I would have thought that if nothing else, Jim could have called Pam to see how to spell Kelly's name (though I loved that Jim is a total guy and has no attention to that kind of detail!). |

Kelly was one lucky girl in this episode - Jim had his arms around her shoulders and then Dwight gave a whack on the butt.

I forgot he smacked her butt! Didn't Dwight used to have a thing for Kelly?
