Mick HAS to go after her. As tainted as their relationship is, they did love each other at some point, and she gave him the cure.

^^ I agree. I don't think that they love each other as lovers, I think they love each other as good friends and they will have moments where they are remembering things that happened between them and miss those moments, but I don't think anything new romantically will occur between them.

I think it's too soon

Their relationship was destructive and too intense. It's not something you go back to easily.

It seems like their relationship was based on intense attraction...and it took time to develop into love.

It was so intense and affected Mick so deeply that I don't know that I want to see them romatically attached...

Mick was addicted to her. It certainly wasn't healthy. But I think it could work now, that they both know each other's limit. I mean, she doesn't have that much power over him anymore, so it could be more of an equal relationship than it was when they first got together.

I think all the time apart was probably good for them. If Coraline had returned too soon it would've been really bad

I mean, Mick's already defensive enough after all those years, imagine if she had come back right away...

I don't think it is for the cure only. He knows she tried to change and that all showed when she gave herself up for him
