I'm trying to imagine their children's taste in music and the influence Hyde and Jackie would have (or try to have) on it

Hahaha! I can imagine their kids in the 90s either arguing over Mariah Carey versus Nine Inch Nails and sometimes finding a happy medium in REM or Counting Crows and the like. And Hyde and Jackie having their opinions.

"See what you did to the kids."
"I know. They're perfect, just like us."

The kids might end up liking something completely different from Jackie and Hyde, in part to rebel from that ever-present argument between their parents.

Their daughter, for instance, prefers classical music. Beethoven, Chopin, and the like.

Their son likes polka. He even asks for an accordion for Christmas.

But if a kid dared to say in Hyde's presence that some band is way more great than Led Zeppelin...
"Ok, take that back now, or i'll ask Kelso to adopt you".

I think they would bond over a lot of stuff though. Some music included.
Now another question popped into my head (it's 1 a.m. and instead of falling asleep after a hard day i'm wondering about fictional characters lives, sure ). How do you think Hyde and Jackie would react if they suddenly found out their teen aged kids started doing some sort of a... Circles of their own with their group(s) of friends?

I think they might be a little relaxed about it because of them doing it themselves. They might still do it for all we know. They would probably try to closely monitor it though.

I agree. I think Jackie might worry at first until Hyde reminds her they turned out fine. But they would, like Colleen said, monitor it. Because they'd want to make sure it was casual, like their once-a-week circle was, not a, "I have to smoke in the morning to get through the day, then smoke at night to get through the night," thing (i.e. an addiction and/or self-medicating an underlying issue that needs proper treatment).

I'm sure they would. Especially Jackie. Hyde might resist at first maybe, but in the end curiosity would win.
