Wow Lisa, I don't think my reasons are too different from other regulars on this thread ....:)
- I think I was hooked when he worried about Hyde right after Edna left & got his parents to help ...that scene in the basement right after Hyde moved in is really so sweet.
Donna made sense when she said he was so good it made her hot ;)
- the scenes in s2 reds birthday where he keeps trying to halt a really heated makeout session because he wants her to talk about how she's feeling ....now imo only , doesn't happen very often with guys.

- his sense of humour , love it. Witty but not cruel, coz its largely self deprecating
Now here's where the lines between the music and the musician are kinda blurred :
- I don't know if its the way the character was written across the series or TG infused this. in - but Eric comes across as being wise beyond his years. :cool:
- his voice. Love it. Any time he speaks , but also esp when he sings ( which he does more than once thanks to the musical episode)
Well , there are other reasons but it's probably answered ur question, and probably also clarified just how pathetic I am LoL

Here are some nice reviews I found on broadway.com about Lonely, Im not - these arent critic reviews , just from the message boards posted by ppl who saw the previews last week - ( the first 2 reviews were mixed )


3). I guess I'm in the minority here, but I enjoyed it, and there was a decent amount of laughter from the audience throughout the whole show. I agree that much of this show seemed better suited for a small quirky indie film than a stage show - especially with how brief some of the little snippets of action were - but overall I found it sweet and enjoyable.

4). I also enjoyed the show - was great to see Topher Grace in person. Fast-paced 90 minute romantic comedy.

The only suggestion I had is to tone down the brightness of the LCD lights that flash words during scene changes. I found myself closing my eyes tightly during each super-bright word since it was really hurting my eyes. It's like when you're walking on a country road at night and a car comes by flashing its' bright lights at you, or when a policeman shines a flashlight in someone's eyes. Very painful on the eyes.
