Just some insider info:
The producers of IGC did send copies of the movie out to both the Foreign Press (for Golden Globes) as well as Academy Members. If it weren't for the big named movies and actors (Clint Eastwood; Avaitor et al.) I think that IGC and specifically Topher would get a nomination for Best Actor because he is so good in that role and as I said on the previous thread, this is the role that made him a "man" and it would have just been icing on the cake if he had gotten a nomination (either GG or AW) for this role, his "first" time out as a leading man. Also, sorry I'm a little late with this, but I thought a great thread title could be: Topher Grace - Because Tom Hank's and Jimmy Stewart ain't got nothin' on me!  |
