I think Fez would be very serious about his craft, and Donna would try to tell him to loosen up while Jackie prefers his seriousness because it means he's doing his job.

Donna and Jackie really are like the odd couple. They're the ones who should've gotten that Odd Couple montage once Jackie moved in with Donna, not Jackie and Fez.

Going with Barstool Prophet said, Jackie often got through to Donna in a way only she could. Too bad the same can't be said the other way around -- at least when Jackie dated Kelso.

Yeah. Jackie and Kelso often brought out the worst in each other. And Jackie was desperate for Kelso to be the man of her dreams, so whenever Donna pointed out -- even at Jackie's prompting -- who Kelso really is -- Jackie got angry at the messenger.

Even when Hyde and Donna both tried to get Jackie to open her eyes. Of course, neither Donna nor Hyde told Jackie the truth about Kelso's cheating directly. So Jackie had an easier time suppressing her suspicions.

I agree. Even if Jackie decided to "kill the messenger" and accuse Donna of trying to destroy her love with Kelso by telling her such a lie. But Donna would've shown that she put Jackie's well-being over her own fear of losing that friendship. Once Jackie learns the truth about Kelso, she would've had to apologize big-time to Donna, and she probably would've gained new insight into herself, her denial, and how she treated her best friend who put their friendship on the line to protect Jackie.

Now I want to write a One Difference story about this.

Which would be a terrible hardship.

But, yeah, so many ideas, so little time.

I still like the AU/One Difference idea of Jackie going to California with Donna instead of Kelso going with her.
