Jackie and Hyde, the perfect example of Opposites Attract
He's aloof.
She's affable.
He likes Led Zeppelin.
She likes ABBA.
The list goes on.

Despite those differences, though, they have what it takes to make it work. Jackie needs an anchor to pull her back to earth when she gets carried away; Hyde needs someone to care for. They were both abandoned by their parents and never really experienced true love. They don't make the perfect couple, but that's just what makes it even more appealing. The chemistry's undeniable and it's always nice to see the softer side of a self-proclaimed 'badass'. They may seem 'creepy and unnatural' to their friends, but to us they seem just ideal for one another.

That 70s Show Halloween Fic Exchange

Hey everyone! Ive been lurking for a little while and I figured what the hell, its time to post. Everyone seems so sweet here.

Ive been a fan of T7S and J/H for a while, but over the summer while bored i started watching late-night repeats and i REALLY fell in love with them (sound familiar?)

I was flipping out while reading Newsday today (a big Long Island/NYC newspaper) because they mentioned t7s.. There was a list made by staff critics about the Emmys. For each category it had who will win, who should win, and who was unfairly snubbed of a deserving Emmy. Underneath Best Comedy Series who was snubbed? That 70s Show!
According to critic Diane Werts, T7S is "goofy, observant, sentimental, reliably funny. Just not 'grown up' enough for Emmy."

Alrite so its not much but hey, its the little things that keep me going.

I don't think they did it in season 5 (continuing discussion I started JUST because I can) because just before they broke up, he gave her that "I wanna do it" smile and she said no. The circumstances of that suggested they were still each other-virgins. And then once you're in season 6...the privacy and intimacy of that last scene in "Christmas" fit the best. Plus, Jackie likes to do that waiting thing-like she did / Kelso-so I don't think she woulda jumped right in with him.

So, that from the part of me that's not still holding out.

I want them to have a first time epi. I think it'd be creative. But not like J/K or E/D where everybody finds out, just some confirmation scene that stays between the two of them...and the audience.

See with that scene when he gives her that smirk and she says "i'm not doing that" I just assumed it was something else in the bedroom, considering he's mroe experienced and she's just been with Kelso. I just figured he wanted to go further, and she wasn't ready for it to be kinky or anything like that. That's how my twisted mind works.
