 Classic Comics Saturday --- Those ’70s Comics: 634 Episode 506.5 - “That ‘70s Halloween”  --- Comments: I like continuity in TV shows, but That ‘70s Show continuity is inconsistent. Having three Christmases in one year aside, characters’ histories with each other are retconned repeatedly or simply forgotten. I wanted to fix that in Those ‘70s Comics. In today’s comic, for example, the fact Kelso is allowed in Jackie’s house after “Burning Down the House” (2x15) is addressed. That’s one detail the show does bring up itself again in “Baby Fever” (3x07), but burning down a house is hard event to forget. --- Halloween Custom Shapes from obsidiandawn.com __________________

 Classic Comics Sunday --- Those ’70s Comics: 635 Episode 506.5 - “That ‘70s Halloween”  --- Comments: Today’s comic is like three in one. Fez goes Gollum over Halloween candy. Kelso transfers his horniness onto the same candy, and we learn cereal influenced Fez’s costume choice. Classic Comics Saturday --- Those ’70s Comics: 636 Episode 506.5 - “That ‘70s Halloween”  --- Comments: Even though Jackie and Hyde make-out plenty on the show, we don’t get an exploration of how their sexual relationship evolves. We do for Eric and Donna – it’s a major plot point in the series -- as well as for Jackie and Kelso and for Fez’s journey to lose his virginity. But considering how toxic Jackie’s relationship with Kelso was, including sexually (e.g., Kelso would “whine and beg [for sex] for, like, two hours until [she was] so sick of hearing his stupid voice that [she] just gave in so he would shut up”), I wanted to show her having a healthier and happier experience with Hyde. One where her personal autonomy was respected and where her pleasure was paramount to Hyde, not his own. So I put these elements into the comics. --- Mythical Brush Set Custom Halloween Shapes from obsidiandawn.com --- Dasha, thank you so much!  The first five seasons of the show, the writing generally let plot and punchline arise from character and character development. Makes for a more satisfying watch. Once plot and punchline guide character development, the stories tend to feel empty.__________________
