 Classic Comics Saturday --- Those ’70s Comics: 443 Inspired by episode 427 - “Love Wisconsin Style”  --- Comments: Post-Rhonda, Fez devolves into extremely inappropriate behavior. Fitting (and quite sad) that it begins with his OOC groping of Rhonda, the woman he was in love with, a move that ends their relationship. I began to follow the show’s awful “development” for Fez but decided no. He (and the T7S fans who read the comics) deserve better than that. So during the comics’ version of season 5, Fez regains his psychological insight and helps his friends, who also help him. He retains some of his sex-obsessed POV, but once his relationship with Laurie begins, he gets even more positive and complex development. --- Colleen, thank you!  __________________

 Classic Comics Sunday --- Those ’70s Comics: 444 Inspired by episode 427 - “Love Wisconsin Style”  --- Comments: Kelso’s hypocrisy (and inappropriate behavior) is on display. During season 5, he’s furious at Hyde for dating his ex because Hyde is one of his “oldest friends”. But Kelso has no problem with groping (or trying to grope) one of his oldest friends’ ex-girlfriends. --- Kayla, thank you!  __________________

Classic Comics Saturday --- Those ’70s Comics: 445 Comic!Season 4.5 Inspired by episode 501 - “Going To California”  --- Comments: In “I Can’t Quit You, Baby (5x02), we see how and (supposedly) why Jackie and Hyde began to hook up the summer between season 4and season 5. But we don’t learn how they ended up hanging out together in the first place, watching game shows. Or see all the characters’ react to Donna leaving Point Place with Kelso. I wanted to fill in the unknown spaces between the seasons with the comics, and so I did with Comic!Season 4.5. __________________

Classic Comics Sunday --- Those ’70s Comics: 446 Comic!Season 4.5 Inspired by episode 501 - “Going To California”  --- Comments: In the comics, I wanted to make sure Hyde and Jackie’s eventual romantic/sexual relationship built organically. After “Jackie Bags Hyde” (3x08), unlike on the show, neither Hyde nor Jackie forget their experiences together. They consistently react to each other with the mix of emotions the conclusion of “Jackie Bags Hyde” leaves them with. In today’s comic, we see that Hyde is conflicted. He both wants to find Jackie and not to find her. He’s afraid of his feelings for her, afraid that he’ll be hurt by her. But his initial instinct was to look for her to offer comfort. __________________
