Thank you. I didn’t get ten hours of sleep last night. But I still feel well-rested today.

That's ... a little late? Or maybe you're super early for this year's Christmas.

Feeling well-rested is the goal, so that's a good thing!

Nothing wrong with keeping a little Christmas going all year round. My oldest nephew would agree with that.

Just in time for Easter on the horizon.

I honestly forgot the decorations were still up. We took down all the outdoor decorations about a week after Christmas. But I usually do everything inside the house by myself. Most of my indoor decorations are fragile, and my husband can be quite careless with them. So I prefer to put everything away alone. Except, I forgot to do it...

Yeah, I understand how that can happen. It's also one of those things that isn't vital to do. So if you're busy with more urgent matters, the Christmas decorations stay up 'til March.

There are some houses around here that still have Christmas lights up.

Do any keep them up all year?

I haven't seen many in the past but it seems like people are keeping them up longer. Maybe people need the cheer.

Could be. There are places that celebrate Christmas year-round (link is to an article about it).

That definitely wouldn't be for me, I like Christmas and I want it to remain a special time of the year. Plus, the Christmas feelings included things like the year's end and that time off between Christmas and the new year.

I would not want to keep all of my decorations up all year, but maybe a few Christmasy things here and there.
