And to add insult to injury, many critics that stopped recapping/reviewing it prior to 5x24 (such as EW) came back to review that wretched finale ... simply just to bash it.

IA! Many shows have had more seasons than what was ideal for the storylines, but GG brought this tó new hights! I've never before seen a show go so much down the hill, they completely destroyed the characters and made it impossible even for the hardest shippers to root for any of the couples on the show! It's so sad, because I can't help but think about what it could have been, if they hadn't made so terrible choices with their storytelling

I'm normally very loyal to tv shows (The only show I stopped watching was Grey's A.), but it's sad to have watched this over the years and then have, not just a bad ending, but terrible seasons at the end!

instead of being cryptic and keeping all fanbases somewhat invested, they've completely deserted us, leaving us with complete crap. so happy they went for their pilot couples

love how it worked out for them, seriously.

they ruined dair & went back to chair & derena bc that's what they thought the whole fanbase wanted, it's worked out real well for them

they knew not the whole fanbase wanted it, but they were mistaken with the majority wanting it because DB fans got just as massive as CB fans. now look at them

Well casual viewers had be really confused after everything last season. Nothing from that terrible finale on has made any sense. Well the ones that were still left. I'm not sure many have been watching in a while.

Truthfully, the show has been bad no matter what. It was dumb of them to think that Dair or breaking up Chair made the ratings go down. The show itself just hasn't been good. Too OTT.
