lol i am more mad at his whining this past episode. hopefully penn will ham it up and it will be played more for laughs.

Yeah... I feel like the few minutes he actually got were just him being depressed and whiny.

It does make sense a little bit though, as he's going through a tough time, since he's having to deal with this whole book tour thing by himself with no support from his friends (whether warranted or not). Added to the unrequited feelings he's having to work through between him and Blair, and the situation with Serena lately...

Frankly who can blame the guy...

If he wasn't such a jerk to Serena he might have more support. I just don't think its in his nature. He needs to buck soon. This spiral can't last.

Nah, I can't see it lasting long. I don't know about the whole Serena thing. I think it goes both ways.

Besides, this is nothing more than showing us that both D and S know how to be "hot messes"

I swear sometimes I think those two are more alike they either of them are willing to admit.

btw, just saw an ep of the OC. Wow, DS really are the combination of RM and SS, no wonder they are this show's romantic OTP. Josh combined his core couples from that show into one for this show.

Meh how long is she supposed to pay for last year. I think he's lost his excuse meter for being a jerk to her imo.

Never saw the Seth/Summer comparisons since DS were never the bickering love-hate type. They're definitely more like Ryan and Marissa though. The outsider and the reformed (kind of) bad girl.

Yeah, most definitely.
But we want a SS ending because they get married!

Seth and Dan are both the loners/outsiders. Don't really have any friends.
They both dream of being with a girl who they think is out of their league but they end up together.
