Gossip Girl - 2 Million Celebration Thread!

It all started with a book series called Gossip Girl by Cecily von Ziegesar. The series were centered around two best friends, Serena and Blair, and their lives in the upper east side. Following them was Gossip Girl who had a track of all the juicy news and nothing and nobody could escape her. Along with Serena and Blair there was Nate, Blair's boyfriend and the boy that Serena fell in love with. These three had so much drama going on that Gossip Girl was on 24/7, but that wasn't enough. We also met Dan Humphrey, the outsider from Brooklyn; his sister Jenny, the younger version of Serena, and their rocker father-Rufus. Though, those weren't the only characters. We have Chuck Bass, who was always around, and Vanessa; Dan's childhood friend.

The series hit off great and it didn't take long before it hit popularity and teens all around wanted to know more about the lives of the Manhattan elite. In 2007 the network CW picked up the series as a TV show with the creators of The O.C, Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage. Ever since then we've been pulled by the drama, the clothes, the music, and the fabulous life of our favorite characters. Though the name of the show is Gossip Girl the books and the shows aren't that similar. The show has gone with its own direction and along with it made us laugh, cry, be frustrated, upset us, but also brought many of us closer.

July 31 2007, Fan Forum added a new board to their family; the Gossip Girl board was created. It made it possible for fans of the show to talk about their favorite characters, couples episodes, clothes, and more. These are the people who took care of this board when it was created: Strider, -TheKen-, and The Crow

Only a few weeks later though two moderators were appointed: Thaly and Stacy. Together they took care of the board and with them we celebrated the one million milestone. But, we all know that everything comes to an end and we had to say goodbye to our moderators, but we also welcomed new ones. That week we didn't get two new moderators but we got four instead. We've had a fair share of new moderators over the years but we've also seen this board grow and bonds have been made.

That's why we are so happy to announce that we've reached 2 MILLION POSTS, which makes us the second biggest TV show board on Fan Forum. Two years ago, february 22, this board reached one million posts. That was 2009 and here we are today, 2011, and we've reached another milestone. This board has the most amazing posters and we are so happy to celebrate this with you!
