You know, this is true. I think when a relationship has as much relevance as theirs did, you're drawn back to each other, at the very least, to sort out what went wrong. A need to understand a part of your history and be on good terms with it, post-breakup. Then you deal with the fact that you still have feelings for one another.

Just another reason why I knew their story wouldn't be over, together or not. Plus, Dylan had yet to discover why she went to Washington.

You can't just drop the relationship and each other like that when the feelings and connection there were so strong. There has to be a conclusion, whether it's a confrontation that leads to a complete break or resolution into friendship, or what we got, which was a recommitment to each other.

I take my 'we got all three' statement back. I was thinking about it and if we had gotten either of the first two, we never would have needed the last. They made a show of trying to break and trying to be friends, but they never fully resolved it.
